America’s Opinion: Gays Receive the Most Discrimination.
A report by Pew Research:
A plurality of the public (45%) believes that gays and lesbians face “a lot” of bias — roughly double the proportions that see widespread discrimination against blacks (18%) or Hispanics (23%), and three-to five-times the proportion that sees similarly high levels of prejudice directed at women, Asian Americans or whites. The latest Pew Research survey of racial attitudes finds that overall, nearly eight-in-ten (78%) adults say gays and lesbians face at least “some” discrimination. Even blacks see discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation as more pervasive than racial bias against blacks.

I <3 Infographics. :)
I need one of these ASAP.
hi, we don’t know each other at all, but i sent that chart to ilovecharts. however, when i sent it in, i did put a link to your other tumblr because i wanted to credit you. this really bothered me and i just needed to let you know that i did credit you, even if they didn’t.
okay, ha.
Awe, thanks for telling me! :) I sent them a few messages about it. It’s one of my pet peeves when people don’t credit authors. I never like to post things without giving the creator proper credit.
But thanks for letting me know, hopefully they’ll correct the link, and give you credit for sending it to them as well! :)
Have an amazing day! And thanks for reblogging this random bunny photo. ROFL :D

Equalitopia is my pet project. Many of you have probably seen me posting about it, but often people don’t understand what it is. So here’s a good explanation! :)
hurrah!

This is soooo cute. :’)
af22:
As of today, gay marriage is legal in Washington DC.
YAYYY!!! <333
Glad to see you join us, Washington DC :)
12% of the states now legalize gay marriage. well. it took 7 years to increase from 0.02% to 12%. But that 11.98% jump was made in 2 years. So, following the 11.98% increase every two years. That makes it a 5.99% increase per year(following the past 2 year trend) and following to 100% ,It should take APROX 15 years to gain national gay marriage. That would make it 2025 and would make me 36 years old. That is far too long for gay marriage to happen. So, Lets hope the yearly percentage of states that allow gay marriage to increase Greatly. (yay!) OR the prop 8 trials to hit the supreme court and a federal LEGALIZATION OF GAY MARRIAGE be approved. (more yay!)
We just want the rights we DESERVE.
ROFL. I think I love you. <3
